How to purchase a Season Beach Pass:

Passes can then be picked up in person at Grinnell’s beach on the following dates/times:

Sunday May 25: 9:00-12:00 PM

Monday, May 26, 9:00-1:00 PM

Saturday, May 31, 9:00-1:00 PM
-
Sunday, June 1, 9:00-1:00 PM
-
Saturday June 14th and on: Any day beaches are staffed.

You may also purchase your pass at Grinnell's Beach at the gatehouse using the tablet provided during the hours listed above. At the gatehouse you can use cash, check or credit card.

Each resident season pass includes one (1) roll of town trash bags.

Trailers* require a pass in addition to the one used by the vehicle.

Beach Rules
-
Dogs are NOT allowed on beaches during beach season. Dogs are allowed during off-season and in off-beach areas, but should be leashed.

Open fires are NOT allowed.

Persons using Tiverton beaches, or bathing, do so at their own risk.

No alcohol, glass containers, jet skis, boats, swimming during electrical storms, or boisterous play are permitted.
-
Surfboards and flotation devices are not allowed in roped off areas.
Facility Descriptions
Grinnell's Beach

Gate opens at 9 AM, closes at 10 PM.

Small, family-oriented beach on the Sakonnet River.

Easy access to the beach and facilities. Located off Main Road (Route 77), just south of the Stone Bridge Pier, this small crescent of beach has a restroom facility and a lifeguard in the summer at a designated swimming area.

Fishing at adjacent Stone Bridge Pier.

Services: Restrooms, food & beverage service (seasonal), sun-shade pavilion.

Parking: Space for approximately 50 cars, including 2 handicapped parking spaces.
Fogland Beach

Gate opens at 9 AM, closes at 10 PM.

Larger beach located off Fogland Road/Three Rod Way.

Provides an excellent windsurfing area and beautiful views of the Sakonnet River. Primary use: public beach. Other uses: fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, wind-surfing, and kite-surfing.

Services: Restrooms, food & beverage vendors (seasonal), playground, picnic tables.
Note: there are no trash receptacles so please; carry-in . . .carry-out. -
Parking: Space for approximately 200 cars.
